School of Rock, 4 Main Street, Blackrock, Co. Dublin

The brief for the School of Rock, located in the centre of Blackrock Village, was to transform the existing protected structure into a vibrant musical educational hub, creating an opportunity for the local and wider communities of Blackrock and Dublin to come together, learn and have fun together.

Considering Ireland’s incredible rock history, the aim of the School of Rock was to establish a presence in this country in order to help support the next generation of artists.

To achieve this potential outcome, the facility includes Lesson and Drum Rooms, Rehearsal Rooms, Reception, Retail, Lounge areas including Storage, Washing and Accessibility Facilities.
